Spirit of Uluru 200x70 Wool Scarf

This painting is done from the deck of Longitude 131. The memories created by it were truly romantic and I loved the colours and shapes throughout the day. The sounds of the flocks of birds are reflected in the energy of this landscape. The soft light created by intermittent rain and clouds was unique for the normally dry desert. The air was unusually clean and temperate, so we slept outside in a swag at night. The paint is applied with the energetic colours usually associ-ated with a Trevor Purvis painting.
